I completed my Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bilkent University in 2020. Following that, I was awarded an AI fellowship from the KUIS AI Center to pursue a Master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering at Koç University. I conducted research on the thesis topic "Unsupervised Multi-Object Discovery and Tracking using Memory-Augmented Slot Attention," with supervision from Prof. Yücel Yemez and Assoc. Prof. Aykut Erdem. On September 11, 2023, I successfully defended my thesis and graduated with high honors.
I am currently employed as a Machine Learning Engineer at Virasoft Corporation, a technology startup specializing in artificial intelligence (AI) and digital pathology solutions for cancer diagnosis and research. The company is based in New York and has offices in Istanbul, Turkey. In my role, I am responsible for developing and automating machine learning-based digital pathology algorithms. These algorithms play a crucial role in replacing manual annotations in image analysis workflows. Additionally, I am tasked with implementing efficient and robust parallel-computing workflows within High-Performance Computing systems to support large-scale image analysis projects.
